Partner Institutions

The international dimension of University College Ghent is the result of the full integration of foreign students via a range of intercultural courses, as well as via an international network of partnerships in which exchanges take place.

Within the framework of the EU programmes (the Tempus & MEDA programmes, the Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP) which includes Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci, etc.) our students get the opportunity to study or to undertake a work placement at a European or an international partner institution or organisation. Further study at one of our partner institutions is also encouraged and developed in the context of 'Complementary International Studies' (CIS). Each faculty of University College Ghent has cooperation agreements with a number of partner institutions, amounting to some 262 Erasmus partner institutions within Europa, 16 Erasmus Belgica partner institutions within the Wallonian community of Belgium and 26 bilateral agreements with institutions mostly based outside Europe. Similarly, qualitative projects and work placements are offered in the framework of development cooperation.
